Senior Cost Controller / Senior Cost Engineer wanted by a thriving defence consultancy supporting a major UK defence manufacturing programme in Derby, which is critical to national security. You must be a sole UK national from birth to apply, and be eligible for (or hold) SC Clearance.
This Senior Cost Controller role will see you working within a secure environment delivering cost tracking, forecasting and reporting across complex programme scope. You will support tranche-level financial control, ensuring accurate data and consistent reporting and be responsible for maintaining cost performance visibility across live programme activity.
As a Senior Cost Controller, you will manage cost control systems, support monthly reporting cycles and ensure accurate forecasting across project scope. You will also work closely with planning and procurement teams to maintain alignment of financial data.
Senior Cost Controller requirements:
- You must be a sole UK national from birth
- Strong experience in cost control / project controls roles
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and cost tracking
- Strong Excel and reporting capability
- Experience within defence, infrastructure or complex capital programmes is essential
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience
- Analytical and detail-focused approach
This role offers a salary of £55,000 - £75,000+ plus benefits, with 3 days per week onsite in Derby. Sole UK Nationality from birth and SC clearance eligibility is essential.
