Lead SharePoint Developer
Up to £75,000 + Excellent Benefits
Hybrid Working – Worthing, West Sussex (1 - 2 days onsite per week)
A Lead SharePoint Developer is required to join a large enterprise organisation undergoing significant digital and workplace transformation. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving the future direction of collaboration, content management, and modern workplace technologies across a complex business environment.
Leading a small team of developers, you’ll be responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and user-focused solutions across Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and the Power Platform. Working closely with technical teams and senior business stakeholders, you'll help shape the roadmap for collaboration technologies while ensuring best practice around governance, automation, and enterprise content management.
This role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management, strategy, and stakeholder engagement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys influencing both technology and business outcomes.
Requirements:
- Strong experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions
- Previous experience leading or mentoring development teams
- Expertise across SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform, PowerShell, and Microsoft collaboration technologies
- Development experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web frameworks
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and software development best practices
- Experience working with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based platforms
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience delivering large-scale collaboration, content management, or digital workplace initiatives
- Experience establishing governance, standards, and best practices within Microsoft 365 environments
- Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) principles and information governance.
As Lead SharePoint Developer, you'll play a central role in defining technical direction, improving collaboration tooling, driving adoption of modern workplace technologies, and ensuring solutions are aligned with wider business objectives.
They are offering a base salary of £70,000 - £75,000, plus great benefits, as well as hybrid working of 1 - 2 days per week onsite in their office in Worthing, West Sussex.
