Technical Programme Manager is required to join a large, regulated organisation to lead a Portfolio of IT critical programme streams. This is a senior, high-impact role overseeing a wide range of technology initiatives, with full responsibility of owning the roadmap, driving delivery, and ensuring alignment with wider business strategy.
As the Technical Programme Manager, you will hold responsibility for driving delivery at Portfolio level, focused on their infrastructure and networking estate.
Technical:
This Technical Programme Manager role requires you to have excellent technical knowledge across Infrastructure, Networking and ideally Cyber Security. Those with a hands-on background or having worked as an IT Manager / Network Manager in your earlier career will be highly regarded. You will understand technology at a fundamental level and have previously delivered change from a hands-on or technical perspective – not just managed delivery from a distance.
Communication:
You will be a highly competent and proven business communicator, able to work with senior stakeholders and team members alike, communicating complex technology roadmap deliverables into meaningful insights at all levels.
Leadership:
You’ll also play a key role in developing and supporting your team of 12, fostering a strong, collaborative environment that enables consistent, high-quality delivery across the portfolio or projects.
Financial:
You will have excellent commercial and financial awareness, including managing significant delivery budgets in the tens-hundreds of millions in enterprise level environments, ideally in highly regulated industries.
Autonomy:
This Technical Programme Manager position comes with a lot of autonomy, focused on fostering your ability to deliver without hand holding from senior management. You will develop and own the end-to-end roadmap and must be able to drive confidence from your peers on the outcomes, not the path.
This role requires 2 days on site per week in Worthing, West Sussex and comes with a package just over £110k including car allowance and annual bonus.
