Geospatial Developer / GIS Developer required by a well-known and long-established company based in Sussex, who provide a vital service across critical national infrastructure. This Geospatial Developer / GIS Developer role will see you working within a multidisciplinary team across the full stack, using key technologies such as Python and ESRI tooling. The main project is designed to make a real, permanent difference to the local environment, so your work here will make a real difference!
As a Geospatial Developer / GIS Developer, you will spearhead the implementation and design of software and work to good coding principles, with a good focus on innovation and the latest technologies. The role is hybrid (~2 days a week ideally) in either of their East Sussex or West Sussex offices, and there is a competitive salary of £70,000 + bonus + benefits on offer.
Geospatial Developer / GIS Developer requirements:
· Strong Geospatial / GIS development experience, ideally working on environmental projects or where thee is data integration
· Comfortable working within an Agile setting using python, cloud and modern devops methods
· ESRI experience is highly desirable
· Happy working with some low/no code tools such as FME
· Wider full stack experience (eg front end using React) and Typescript is a nice bonus.
