Security Engineer with extensive AWS and threat modelling skills required for a thriving automation company in the insurtech space who are continuing to scale.
We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer who is comfortable working in a client facing setting using the latest technologies. As they operate in the insurance space, the company have a mature compliance environment (ISO certified and they have CSE+) however this would be their first dedicated security engineer hire. Therefore, we are looking for someone who has the experience to be able to design and implement a better security environment.
Security Engineer role requirements:
- Extensive AWS security experience is essential, ideally in a cloud-native/serverless setting, using AWS Security Hub
- Strong threat modelling skills
- Ability to design and maintain security infrastructure from scratch
- Happy working in a solo Security Engineer role
- Client facing skills
- You should have come from either a regulated environment (eg insurance, finance, etc) or from a startup or scaleup setting (or both!)
- This would suit someone with a software background rather than just a network or infrastructure background
