ITSecurity Engineer with live SC Clearance or DVClearance required on an OUTSIDE IR35 contract basis by our defence client,working on a major, long-term programme of work.
As an ITSecurity Engineer you will be part of a teamresponsible for implementing and maintaining a SIEM system based around acomplex defence environment. You’ll need a strong understanding ofinformation security or cyber security principles, including securitymonitoring systems.
Any experience with Splunk, VMware or Cisco would be great but isnot essential. Defence environment experience would also be a positive.
This ITSecurity Engineer contract will be based inPortsmouth for half the time as this is where the security team are based. Weare therefore looking for an IT Security Engineer who is happy spending 50% of their time on-site and you must have live SC or DV Clearance.
Please note that this IT Security Engineer role is OutsideIR35. The contract will run for aminimum of 6 months and then there is a possibility of further extensionsthereafter.
